About the program

The CARE group targets children 5 to 7 years of age who could benefit from an encouraging environment geared toward fostering cooperation and building relationships.

The CARE group meets Monday through Friday, from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m., at 2600 Oakland Avenue, Elkhart.

CARE is a group therapy process which helps children:

• Support and be supported by other children in similar situations
• Build positive relationships
• Learn to cooperate in a group setting
• Express their feelings

Participants in CARE may be eligible for free transportation to and from the program. See program leaders for details.

Fees

Elkhart County residents may be eligible for a reduction of fees based on family income and size. Medicaid, Medicaid rehabilitation, and commercial insurance may reimburse all or part of the fee, pending prior approval.
